Best Outcome | Week 12: Human Stories / Multiples (Day 3 of 6)

So far, I experimented solely with the colour black - I felt that creating this limitation would provide the chance to expand my creativity. However, today, the task was to develop our samples further, and I felt as if I had exhausted the monochromatic palette, and thus I chose to explore a new route. Throughout the day, I begun weaving different, contrasting materials together, as well as introducing new colours. In the morning, it was my priority to source a visually impactful palette, as I felt that this was the reason my precious responses were so impactful. If the palette is strong, the response will be more engaging. Following my Action Plan, in the afternoon, I begun combining the different colours together, and I felt that the response above was the most successful. Whilst I felt that this outcome was visually impactful, I didn’t think that the palette was a suitable reflection of the theme, and I felt that my initial responses aligned more with the brief. Thus, next week, I intend to develop my initial route, and explore a more restricted, dark colour palette.
